About Brady’s Voice

About Brady’s Voice

Brady’s Voice is an approved 501(c)3 nonprofit charity founded in memory of Brady Elbaum, who passed away by suicide in 2022. Brady’s Voice is dedicated to helping young people cope with mental health challenges and preventing suicide. We aim to educate schools, students, and families on the warning signs of suicide, provide access to resources and support, and promote a culture of openness and support for those struggling with mental health challenges.

Our mission is to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and to provide resources and support to those who may be struggling with mental health challenges. We also work to remove the stigma around mental illness and suicide, and promote open and honest conversations about mental health.

Brady’s Voice currently focuses on the following 4 areas:

01.Suicide Prevention Programs

Brady’s Voice works with schools and community organizations to implement suicide prevention programs and resources, like the Hope Squad program, which trains students to recognize the warning signs of suicide and how to intervene and provide support.

02.Raising Awareness

One of the primary benefits of Brady’s Voice is that it helps to raise awareness about suicide and mental health issues. By providing information and resources to individuals and communities, we will help reduce the stigma associated with mental illness and encourage people to seek help when they need it.

03.Advocacy and Education

Brady’s Voice engages in advocacy and education efforts to promote policies and practices that support mental health and suicide prevention. This includes working with policymakers and community leaders to develop and implement programs and policies that promote mental health awareness, reduce the risk of suicide, and provide support for individuals and families affected by mental illness.

04.Collaboration and Partnerships

Another potential benefit of Brady’s Voice is that we work with a variety of stakeholders, including mental health professionals, community organizations, and government agencies, to promote mental health awareness and suicide prevention. This collaboration helps to build a more comprehensive and coordinated approach to addressing these issues and ensure that resources are directed to where they are most needed.

Overall, the work of Brady’s Voice can help to reduce the incidence of suicide and promote mental health awareness and well-being. By providing school-based peer to peer programs, raising awareness, advocating for change, and collaborating with others, we will make a significant impact in the lives of young people who are struggling with mental health challenges.

1st Annual Brady’s Walk & Mental Health Wellness Fair

On World Suicide Prevention Day, September 10, 2023, Brady’s Voice will host the 1st Annual Brady’s Walk & Mental Health Wellness Fair to raise awareness and promote mental health wellness and suicide prevention.

We will provide a lot of needed help for parents to help their struggling kids, raise awareness about mental health issues, reduce stigma, and provide information and resources to families who may be struggling with mental health challenges. By having businesses explain their mental health services available to help kids cope with their mental health challenges, parents can learn about resources and options that they were not aware of before. With everyone’s support, this will be a major positive step forward in promoting mental health wellness and suicide prevention. By providing education and resources, families and individuals will be better equipped to manage mental health challenges and seek out the help and support that they need.
