A Community United – A Recap of Brady’s Walk & Mental Health Wellness Fair

The 1st Annual Brady’s Walk & Mental Health Wellness Fair on September 10th was nothing short of phenomenal. We saw over 500 attendees come together for an important cause: mental health and suicide prevention. With the help of more than 30 exhibitors, we managed to raise an incredible $60,000 that will go towards helping kids navigate the often challenging world of mental health.

The day was a celebration of community and awareness, featuring insightful speakers during the opening ceremony. Special thanks go to Mr. Cittadino and the Old Bridge School District for graciously allowing us to move the event indoors to Carl Sandburg Middle School at the last minute due to weather. We’re also grateful for the unwavering support from the Mayor.

Our journey through the school for the walk was both fun and meaningful. Coupled with live music, food trucks, and a telethon featuring E Street Shuffle, a Bruce Springsteen cover band, we truly felt the spirit of unity.

A big shoutout to our dedicated volunteers, the OEM, and the police department for ensuring a smooth and safe event. We can’t forget to thank our sponsors; a special mention goes to Guisseppies and Bagel Boy for generously providing food for our volunteers.

The incredible community support, both in person and virtually, energizes us to expand our initiatives. We’re eager to launch Hope Squads in schools across New Jersey and extend our college scholarship program. Thanks to everyone’s collective efforts, next year’s event promises to be even more impactful.

Together, we can make a difference.
